Feeling Our Way Into the Vortex
"We want you to understand that abundance expands proportionately to match desire, and that there is great untapped abundance not yet allowed by the very humans who have created it. When your life experience causes a focused desire within you, the means to fulfill that desire is crated at the same time--but you have to be on the Vibrational wavelength with your desire in order to see the path to the fulfillment of it." ~Abraham through Esther Hicks
The idea of having the means within us to fulfill our desires really struck me more profoundly recently than it has in the past. It means that with each desire that we have, we have the means to fulfill it ALREADY---even before the desire is manifested. It may seem impossible at first glance. If we have the means within us, then why isn’t the desire already fulfilled?
Abraham shares that the reason our desires may not yet be made manifest is because we are not on the same vibrational wavelength as our desires. So the question is, how do we get ourselves to the vibrational wavelength required in order to manifest our dreams?
According to Abraham, the way to get there is to simply feel good. That’s it. We don’t get there only by way of action and effort alone as most of us think. We also have to walk an emotional path and take an emotional journey. So how do make ourselves feel good if we believe that feeling good can only come as a result of the fulfillment of desires?
Fortunately, as creative beings endowed with free will and choice, we have the ability to think independently of circumstances. That is why Martin Luther King Jr. could have a dream about a world where civil rights applied to all people--even when that world had not yet materialized.
How do we get to that “feel good” place? We get there by doing things that make us feel good. Whether it be hiking or spending time with children or animals, we need to engage in activities that feed the spirit. We get there by focusing less on what is wrong with our lives and more on what is right. According to Abraham, attention to what is wrong magnifies the problem. Attention to and gratitude for what is right, magnifies the blessings.
It’s time to see the glass as full and overflowing so that we can move ourselves into a vibrational wavelength that matches our desires and allows us to truly be the creative beings we were designed to be. After all, as I once heard someone say, even if a glass is only half filled with water it’s full because it is also half filled with air.
